About the course

From the text of the standard to the DIALux evo design

Four interdependent modules that take you from the text of the standard to the modeled design in DIALux evo. Module 1 (concepts, standards, units, remote management, smart cities and the software) is a prerequisite for the others: besides the full class, you can combine M1 with Module 2, Module 3 or Module 4.

Classes are live online, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7pm to 9:30pm, with guided practice in DIALux evo 14.1, DIAL GmbH's official software. Every session is recorded and available for 3 months for review.

01

Course materials

The complete guides by Prof. João Gabriel P. de Almeida (Public Lighting Design with DIALux evo, Intrusive Light, and Roadway Lighting Verification), plus each class's slide deck in PDF, to consult before, during and after the course.

02

Classes recorded for 3 months

Missed a session? Every live class is recorded and available for 3 months, so you can review it at your own pace without losing the thread.

03

Certificate of completion

Once you complete the required hours, you get a certificate with the full program and hours taken, ready for your résumé and technical portfolio.

All class materials are also delivered as PDF, for you to follow along and review later. Class seats are limited and sold by batch.

Curriculum

What you'll master

Each theory block comes with the matching practical work in DIALux evo. Modules follow the class's official syllabus, with numbered topics, each topic's hours, and what you learn in each block.

Modules follow the order of the official syllabus: fundamentals, projects, measurement, and roadway with DIALux evo practice. Photos are from real built work and measurements, by CEILUX and the instructors.

Are course materials and the certificate included?

Yes. Materials include Prof. João Gabriel P. de Almeida's guides (Guide to Public Lighting Design with DIALux evo, Guide to Intrusive Light, and Roadway Lighting Verification Guide) and each class's slide deck in PDF. Anyone who completes the required hours receives a certificate of completion.

Are the classes recorded?

Yes. Every live session is recorded and available for 3 months for review. The class is live, so recordings are a support, not a substitute for attending.

What if I need to withdraw after enrolling?
